Get the leaves up before the snow comes down.

In New Hampshire, wet leaves left under the snow all winter smother the grass and invite snow mold come spring. One good fall visit fixes that.

What we do

Mowing, cleanups and lawn care for New Hampshire homes.

Weekly mowing and fall cleanups are the core. The jobs below keep the rest of the yard in shape from April to November.

May to October

Weekly mowing

Your lawn cut on a set day, weekly or every other week, through New Hampshire's whole growing season.

  • Mow at the right height for the time of year
  • Edge the walkways, driveway and beds
  • String-trim around trees, fences and the house
  • Blow clippings off every hard surface

Fall cleanups

Every leaf off the lawn and out of the beds before the snow, and hauled away. New Hampshire's maples and oaks drop a lot of them.

  • Leaves cleared from the lawn, beds and fence lines
  • Final mow of the season
  • Beds and edges tidied for winter
  • Everything hauled away, no piles left at the curb

Spring cleanups

The leaves, sticks and plow sand winter left behind, matted grass raked out and the beds cleared, so the season starts clean.

Aeration & overseeding

Core aeration loosens packed soil, then fresh seed fills the thin spots. Late summer is when New Hampshire grass grows back best.

Hedge & shrub trimming

Questions

Good to know.

Don't see your question? Call (603) 370-8460 and ask.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. We come out, look at the property with you and send a written quote. No cost and no obligation.

Can I book a one-time job?

Yes. Spring and fall cleanups, aeration, mulch and hedge trimming can each be booked on their own, with or without weekly mowing.

How often do you mow?

Weekly or every other week through the growing season. Weekly keeps the lawn healthiest when it grows fastest in late spring.

When does mowing season start in New Hampshire?

Once the grass starts growing in spring, usually late April or May depending on where you are in the state, and it runs into October.

When is the best time for a fall cleanup?

After most of the leaves are down and before the first snow that sticks. In most of New Hampshire that's late October into November.

What's in a spring cleanup?

Clearing the leaves, sticks and plow sand winter left behind, raking out matted grass, cleaning out the beds and the first mow. Most New Hampshire yards are ready once the snow is gone and the ground firms up, usually in April.

When should I aerate and overseed in New Hampshire?

Mid-August to early September, according to UNH Cooperative Extension. The soil is still warm, crabgrass is winding down, and new grass has time to root before winter.

Which New Hampshire towns do you cover?

We work with homeowners across New Hampshire. Put your ZIP in the form and we'll confirm right away.

When should I sign up for mowing?

Before the season starts, ideally over the winter, so we can give you a regular day on the weekly route.
