Privacy policy
How New Life Landscaping handles what you send us when you ask for an estimate, on this website or through a form on Facebook or Instagram.
What we collect
On this website's estimate form: the service you want, the size of your yard, your name, phone number and ZIP code, and, only if you add them, your street address, a note, and when you'd like the work done. If the page showed you an estimated price, we keep the price you saw. With your request we also keep the time it arrived, the address of the page you were on and, if you came from an ad, the ad's tracking tags (such as utm_source, gclid or fbclid), so we know which ad brought you.
On a Facebook or Instagram form: the answers you give there, which are the service, your yard size, your ZIP code, and the name and phone number Facebook fills in from your profile. Meta collects these and passes them to us; Meta's privacy policy covers what Meta does with them.
When you call or text us: your phone number and whatever you tell us.
We don't collect payment details on this website, and we don't ask for anything we don't need to quote and do the work.
How we use it
To answer your request: to call or text you about it, look at the property, send you a written quote, schedule the work and follow up on the quote. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
Who else handles it
A few companies handle your request for us, only so this website works and your request reaches us:
- Vercel hosts this website and its estimate form, and stores a private copy of each request. If the copy and the alert below both fail, the request is written to the website's server log so it isn't lost.
- ntfy, a notification service, delivers an alert with your request to our phone.
- Anthropic's Claude, an AI assistant, helps us keep our list of requests and draft our replies. A person reads and sends every message you get from us.
- Meta, for requests made through a Facebook or Instagram form.
- Google Fonts and Unsplash serve this website's fonts and photos. Like any website that loads them, they see your browser's IP address when a page loads.
We'll also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn't set cookies, and it doesn't use advertising or analytics trackers. While you look around, it keeps the ad tracking tags mentioned above in your browser's session storage so they stay with your request. That storage clears when you close the tab. If we add advertising measurement, such as the Meta Pixel or Google's tag, we'll update this page before it goes live.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it to quote, schedule and do the work, and for our business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
To see what we have about you, correct it or have it deleted, call or text (603) 370-8460. If you'd rather we stop contacting you, just tell us and we will.
Children
This website is for homeowners and isn't meant for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
